THE ABILITY SKI CHALLENGE

Part of our Red, White and Snow wine and culinary event each year is the Ability Ski Challenge. In 2009, this event will take place on March 14, 2009. The athletes and spectators will hit the slopes first on Friday, March 13th for "Skiing with the Champions" at Deer Valley Resort. The Challenge begins on Saturday at the Park City Mountain Resort. A Celebrity skier, along with one of our Ability skiers, will host each four-man team, as participants spend the morning cruising the mountain, attending clinics and joining the Legends for dual slalom team racing. Teams compete in their second runs in hopes of claiming a medal in one of our three divisions, Shredders, Weekend Warriors and Couch Potatoes. At mid-day, following the race, all participants will receive an event sweatshirt, a premium gift and a team photo. Proceeds from the event help to ensure the Ability Center's programs remain affordable for all participants.
