April 7, 2009 - Helping spread the word during World Autism Awareness Month, the Park Record's Pat Parkinson talked with NAC Discovery Camp Program Manager Tracy Riddleberger Meier about programs that can help families dealing with Autism.

March 4, 2009 - One Step at a Time from the Chicago area has been coming to ski with the National Ability Center for 17 years. Adia Waldburger from the Park Record spent some time with a few of the teen cancer survivors while on the hill at Park City Mountain Resort.
March 4, 2009 - This year the National Ability Center partnered with the Park City Snowboard Team to give adaptive snowboarders a chance to progress alongside their able-bodied peers. Wina Sturgeon wrote about the PCST in Salt Lake's InThisWeek.
February 22, 2009 - A brief mention of the National Ability Center was made by Harry Shattuck of the Houston Chronicle in the Miami Herald. Shattuck listed a number of resorts and their offerings in the western United States.
February 21 & 22, 2009 - The National Ability Center picked up a new mustang this weekend for future use in the Equestrian Program. Jan Drake, Equestrian Program Resource Manager, went with the BLM to gather the mustangs and then purchased one for both the NAC and herself. The Salt Lake Tribune, KUTV 2 News and MarketWatch all picked up the story.
February 18, 2009 - Hippotherapy Program Manager, Kim Desautels, was featured by the Salt Lake Tribune for her work at the National Ability Center and her personal fight against cancer. Sadly, the article called the program "Hypotherapy" instead of Hippotherapy, but we're happy to see Kim receive recognition for her hard work.
February 17, 2009 - A long-time help to vacationers, Frommer's published an article by Robert Haru Fisher explaining how the National Ability Center can help individuals with disabilities and their families to have a great time in Park City regardless of their ability levels.
February 16, 2009 - The Utah Olympic Park hosted the FIBT World Cup, and the NAC's bobsled program participants had the opportunity to run in its sleds immediately before the competition. The Daily Herald in Provo covered the team's ride and Utah County resident Tom Napierski's life-long journey.
January 23, 2009 - When the Wounded Warrior Project & Disabled Sports USA teamed with the VA of Salt Lake City, a group of veterans and their families were able to come participate in various NAC programs over three days. The Park Record's Scott Sine and Alisha Self spent some time with the group to see their challenges and successes.
January 8, 2009 - Senator Ross Romero from Utah's District 7 recently came to the National Ability Center to see the work done here to benefit the local community.

August 7, 2008 - Following her Extremity Games gold medal in wakeboarding, Nicole Roundy was interviewed by her hometown newspaper.
July 16, 2008 - Greg Marshall of Park City's Park Record newspaper spent some time with CEO Dale Schoon during his first day on the job at the National Ability Center on July 14th.
July 10, 2008 - The Salt Lake Tribune’s Jill Gillman published a great article about the National Ability Center and its equestrian program. There is also a fun, two-minute multimedia presentation with photos of some of our Discovery Camp participants, instructors, volunteers and horses. The majority of the audio comes from Equestrian Program Manager Raeshell Sorensen.
July 5, 2008 - Bobsled team member, Tom Napierski was featured in an article in the Deseret Morning News. Tom ran in the Freedom Festival's annual 5K on the 4th of July.
July 1, 2008 - Transworld Snowboarding gave the world a look inside week of summer adaptive snowboarding.
January 21, 2008 - Metro Canada ran a nice article about the first adaptive bobsled team in the world. They talked with Matt Profitt and Gary Kuhl while they were competing in the America's Cup bobsled races in Calgary. The article was Disabled athletes raise awareness.
January 18, 2008 - The Calgary Sun had a good article about the Ability Center's Matt Profitt and Gary Kuhl competing in the America's Cup bobsled races in Calgary. The article Pushing sport on-slide has some great quotes from both men about their experiences and hopes for the future of the program.
January 2008 - The Park Record printed a couple of wonderful articles and a posted multimedia slide show on its website regarding the 20th Annual Huntsman Cup ski races held the 1st, 2nd & 3rd of January.
