UNIVERSAL CHALLENGE COURSE
The Bronfman Family Recreation Center and Ranch also features a low and high element Ropes Course. A Universal Challenge Course is a a collection of various elements constructed mainly of cables and wood. It is called a Universal Challenge Course because we have designed several of the elements on the course to be physically accessible to everyone.
Low Element Challenge Initiatives focus on experiential learning and problem solving. Low elements are designed to foster teamwork, trust communication and enhanced group dynamics. Participants build team spirit and cooperation through better communication skills, a focus on goals, and leadership.
High Ropes Courses are designed to challenge individuals to set goals and to stretch their personal boundaries. On the High Ropes Course, participants serve as partners to support, encourage, and challenge each other while promoting positive risk taking.
