Discovery Camps logoEach summer the National Ability Center offers camps packed with fun, adventure and activities that will challenge your camper to discover his/her abilities, while making friendships to last a lifetime. These activities encourage campers to make friends, build social skills, strengthen physical agility and develop recreational skills while having more fun than they've ever had before. Our staff members are chosen for their experience, creativity and enthusiasm for working with children and adults. We are certain that your camper's summer will be filled with priceless memories and experiences.

Day Camp Registration Info:
>All camps, except overnight and Adventurers, run Monday-Friday (depending on schedule dates). Camp begins at 9:00AM and ends at 4:00PM Monday through Thrusdays and ends at 3:00PM on Fridays. Adventurers camps begin at 9:00AM and end at 2:30PM, Monday through Friday.
> A $50 non-refundable deposit is required with registration
> Current National Ability Center membership is required to participate

ADVENTURERS: Ages 8-18

This camp focuses on fun, socialization and recreation withpeers and camp staff. All activities will encourage growth in a supportive and safe environment. Campers are grouped by age.

PATHFINDERS: Ages 8-18
Day Camps for campers with physical disabilities. summer camper water skiing

The Pathfinders camps will "challenge the campers' abilities" through a variety of activities. These fun activities help campers develop friendships and independence and take pride in personal and group accomplishments.

CRUSADERS: Ages 8-18
Day Camps for campers with cognitive disabilities.

This camp is focused on fun, socialization and recreation withpeers and camp staff. Campers have the "opportunity to discover abilities" through a wide variety ofexperiential activities. Staff creates an atmosphere where campers can develop socially and physically while developing and expressing talents. Campers are grouped by age.

CAMP XTREME! Ages 13-18
An outdoor overnight for teens with physical disabilities.

Campers will be swooshing down the mountains of Park City on a zip line, riding the alpine slide, running rivers, rock climbing, and more! This week-long overnight camp is designed to build confidence and self-esteem.
When you are not camping you will be staying at the National Ability Center bunkhouse and beginning the day in beautiful Park City, Utah. Space is limited.
