July 22, 2010 - Mark Smith with the Access Utah Network interviewed new executive director, Gail Loveland, live for a bi-weekly video podcast about the adaptive and therapeutic recreation opportunities at the National Ability Center.

July 18, 2010 - Salt Lake City's Fox 13 featured the NAC's newest addition to the equestrian program. New gypsy, Token, was shown with Equestrian Programs Manager AbbyJane Ferrin and Equestrian Resource Manager Jan Drake.

 

July 16, 2010 - Paralympic sled hockey gold medalist, Greg Shaw, does more than train and play for the best sled hockey team in the world. He's also an avid skate boarder.

March 16, 2010 - With the Winter Paralympic Games on the horizon, the NAC put together "Discovered Abilities Pt. III, Leaps & Bounds" featuring some of its competitive athletes and Paralympians. This video is available in 1080p HD! Athletes include Team USA Sled Hockey gold medalist, Greg Shaw; USA's #1 female adaptive snowboarder, Nicole Roundy; U.S. Adaptive Ski Team member, Erik Bayindirli; British Disabled Ski Team member, Talin Skeels-Piggins; and U.S. Paralympic swimming hopeful, Ben Stephens.

July 15, 2009 - The NAC hosted the Wounded Warrior Project's Project Odyssey with an all-female group of veterans, and KSL5's Amanda Butterfield shared their stories.

June 6, 2009 - This year we are celebrating 20 years of horseback riding at the National Ability Center. Recently we had a party with demonstrations by some of our participants. Here's what some of the evening looked like from the perspective of Mike Bradshaw from Park City Television.

June 5, 2009 - In anticipation of the 2009 Utah Paralympic Academy, Jed Boal from KSL5 met NAC participant and recent Team USA Sled Hockey gold medalist Greg Shaw to talk about adaptive sports and life.

March 14, 2009 - Park City Television's Mike Bradshaw paid a visit to the race hill at Park City Mountain Resort for the 21st Annual Ability Ski Challenge and talked with some of the event's skiers.

February 16, 2009 - The Utah Olympic Park hosted the FIBT World Cup, and the NAC's bobsled program participants had the opportunity to run in its sleds immediately before the competition. The Daily Herald in Provo covered the team's ride and Utah County resident Tom Napierski's life-long journey.

January 29, 2009 - The Deseret News' photojournalist Jeff Allred braved the wind and snow to ski for a day with skiers and snowboarders at Park City Mountain Resort. A group of teenagers with amputations from Shriners Hospital's Un-Limb-ited showed him the ropes.

January 28, 2009 - Keith McCord from KSL5 visited the NAC to check out the teenagers with amputations from Shriners Hospital's Un-Limb-ited Ski & Snowboard Camp at Park City Mountain Resort.

January 26, 2009 - Real Ideas Studio held a week-long contest for filmmakers in conjunction with Slamdance Film Festival. One group competing in the competition produced a short film called "Live On Purpose." The film focuses on the challenges faced by the NAC's adaptive snowboarder, Nicole Roundy.

January 7, 2009 - David Ryder from the Park Record hit the slopes with a few participants from Houston's M.D. Anderson Cancer Center to hear about their experiences.

January 6, 2009 - The Salt Lake Tribune's article about M.D. Anderson's annual ski trip to the National Ability Center included a video featuring some of the many participants who came to ski with the National Ability Center.

July 2008 - KPCW's Linda Gorton visited with members of the Wounded Warrior Project while the group spent a week experiencing waterskiing, rock climbing, horseback riding, challenge course obstacles and other great activities.

January 2008 - Park City Television aired two pieces about racers participating in this year's 20th Annual Huntsman Cup.

October 2007 - The Pentagon Channel's "The American Veteran" program aired a five-minute feature about the Wounded Warrior Project' visit to the Ability Center this summer. (This video is no longer available.)

July 25 & 26, 2007 - KSL TV Ch 5 featured a segment about the Wounded Warrior Project and National Ability Center providing peace for PTSD through recreation.
