Hailey Griffin

Hailey Griffin sustained an incomplete L1 spinal cord injury in a car accident six years ago. Her journey into adaptive sports began at the Adaptive Sports Center in Crested Butte, where she discovered a passion for mono-skiing. Inspired by a comment from a friend envisioning her in the Paralympics, Hailey set her sights on becoming a high-level athlete.

Hailey joined the National Ability Center’s High Performance Alpine Team after meeting Matthew Brewer at the Adaptive Training Foundation in Dallas, Texas. Together, they completed the 10-day Hyper Program, which focused on building athletic skills and achieving success in adaptive sports.

When not training, Hailey enjoys spending time with her son in their hometown of Paonia, Colorado.
