Andrew Haraghey
Andrew Haraghey is a Paralympic alpine skier who represented Team USA at the 2018 Winter Paralympics in PyeongChang, South Korea. Over his career, he has achieved podium finishes, including a bronze at the 2012 US Nationals and a 2nd place ranking in downhill skiing in the United States. He was also named Junior Adaptive Athlete of the Year and received the NAC Sportsmanship Award in 2016.
Andrew’s journey with the National Ability Center began after his early involvement in Vermont and Ski Spec. He joined NAC’s High Performance Team while attending college in Utah, where he continues to pursue his goals of skiing for Team USA and competing for gold at the Paralympics.
Off the slopes, Andrew is a passionate mountain biker and an inspiring motivational speaker. He shares his story with schools, scout troops, businesses, and community groups. Andrew lives by the mantra, “Don’t let anyone tell you that you can’t do something. Always give 100%.”
