Alpine Skiing
Hometown:
Raymond, Maine
Accomplishments:
Multiple medals in the Diana Golden race series, Chip Crothers founders award (founder of Maine Adaptive Sports and Recreation)
Path to the National Ability Center:
I met a few athletes that competed with the National Ability Center from attending race camps over the years.  I would keep in touch, and they were always telling me about training with the NAC, and how I should come train with them! I have always had a dream of being able to train out west and this season I decided to make it happen!
Goals:
My goal overall is to become a better skier and racer.  I always try to push myself out of my comfort zone and try my best.  Another goal of mine is to maybe make the Paralympic’s one day!
Favorite quote / mantra:
Take every opportunity that you can, because you never know where it will lead you
Lucky charm / pre-race routine:
The day of the race, I like to listen to  music with a good bass.  Anything up beat. Before I get into the start gate, I will do a bunch of push ups.  It helps calm my nerves and keep me warm!
When I am not on the mountain, what am I doing?
I am in my home state of Maine.  My family has a camp on a big lake about 10 minutes from my house.  I spend most of my time there riding around on the jet ski, going on boat rides, swimming and hanging out with friends.  I also am getting ready for next ski season by lifting weights at a local weight lifting gym.
