Annika Hutsler
Annika is one of the newest skiers on the team! She lost her right leg below the knee while serving in the United States Marine Corps and was introduced very quickly to the world of adaptive sports. Annika competes in many different sports but has decided that alpine skiing is her pathway to the Paralympic Games. During the 23/24 season, Annika joined the National Ability Center’s High Performance Alpine Ski Team as a 3-track skier. However, she decided to try skiing with a prosthetic leg for the 2024/25 season. So far, she loves it! Annika is making huge strides every day and is excited to train with the NAC team for another year.
Her goals are to make the US Team one day and represent her country in the Paralympic Games, whether that is in 2026, 2030, or 2034. She has big dreams and is working hard towards her goals.
