Adaptive sport has been the key to self-acceptance post-injury. It has also shown me that life can still be fun after a life changing injury.
PATH TO THE #ADAPTIVENATION:
I came out to Park City in January of 2012 to attend an adaptive bobsled driving school. I had a sit-ski lesson with the NAC on Jan 10, 2012 after the bobsled drive school finished. Then, I joined the NAC Alpine team in February 2012.
GOALS:
My two major goals are staying sober and helping others
Becoming the best seated alpine ski racer I can be
