Your path to the National Ability Center:
I was introduced to the NAC when my girlfriend brought me to Park City in my quest to snowboard again post amputations. Once I decided I didn’t love snowboarding she recommended I try monoskiing. I tried it at my then local mountain Big Bear, and I was hooked. I applied for a grant through CAF and when I got my own monoski, I moved out to Utah to train with the NAC High Performance Team.
Goals:
To qualify for the Paralympics and bring home Gold and to win a World Cup title!

Lucky Charm/Pre-race routine:
My special Brewers Blend of Doterra essential oils placed under my nose before a race. I call it my “Go Fast Juice”
When you’re not on the mountain, what are you doing?
I am supporting new amputees through my volunteer work with the Amputee Coalition and making Prosthetics as a part-time Fabrication Tech with Hanger Clinic.
