About this Memorial Day

The day isn’t about eating the most epic hot-dog, or the sweet house-boat rental you scored on the lake for a long weekend with your pals. It is a day of remembrance for our military service members who lost their lives. We can easily get wrapped up in social plans for this long-awaited day off from work, but hopefully this year proves different for you, with more time for reflection and fewer group barbecues.

“The thing that makes us powerful as a country is optimism and trust. build a little bit of that this weekend and it will be time well spent.”
-General Martin Dempsey

Here are a few ways to participate in honoring those service members who have fallen:

1. Participate in the Wear Blue Run to Remember
