She went on to become a Paralympic Gold Medalist and eventually to also marry Marcel. Stephani shares that from her first adaptive ski lesson, to joining the US Paralympic team and competing in 5 Paralympic games the NAC has been her (and her husband’s) home – not only for training, but most importantly for community. Now, as a Board member, she hopes to give back and serve with those are dedicated to positively empowering person’s with disabilities to find independence, self-esteem, JOY and productivity through adaptive sport and recreation.
