Stephen Quinn

Stephen Quinn is a 1979 graduate of Brigham Young University (Economics) and a 1981 graduate of the Harvard Business School. He spent his career at Goldman, Sachs & Co. as a General Partner and Managing Director specializing in corporate finance. Steve moved on to spend two decades at Goldman Sachs structuring mergers, financings, and other transactions for some of America’s best-known corporations. After he retired from Goldman in 2001, Steve joined the board of directors of Zions Bancorporation, Group 1 Automotive Inc., and American Express Bank Limited (sold in 2008). As a director, he has served as non-executive chairman, lead director, and chair of several committees, including Audit, Risk and Nominating & Governance.

Outside his professional commitments, Steve has led youth and adult church organizations, coached youth sports programs, including basketball, football, and cross country, and served on finance committees of several clubs and community HOAs.

Steve and his wife, Cydney, raised their family of six children in New York City and New Canaan, CT. They currently divide their time between Park City, Naples, FL, and visiting grandchildren in Houston, Dallas, and St. George.

The Quinn’s purchased a home in Park City in 2002 when they started a relationship with the National Ability Center through the ski program for their youngest child, Taylor (aka “TQ”). TQ is an active participant in many NAC programs. The Quinn family regularly supports Red White & Snow, the Barn Party, and the Summit Challenge annual fundraising events at the NAC.
