Bjorn was a Norwegian Fjord with a heart as big as the fjords of Norway. Before becoming a beloved National Ability Center therapy horse in 2013, he served as a versatile lesson horse in Wisconsin. Bjorn’s patience knew no bounds, making him a cherished companion for participants of all riding levels and support needs. In recognition of his outstanding service, he proudly received the title of PATH International Region 10 Equine of the Year in 2023, showcasing the tremendous impact he brought to our program. Bjorn passed away in late 2023, leaving behind a proud legacy and some large horse shoes to fill. He will be missed dearly by us all.
