This sit ski has a molded seat, which sits atop one typical ski. Monoskiers use riggers for balance, steering, to create turn shape and to assist themselves onto the lift. Mono skis are typically used by folks with mid to lower level spinal chord injuries, bi-lateral, uni-lateral leg amputations, spina bifida and other orthopedic diagnoses. Monoskis allow for greater independence among participants and require athleticism, coordination and balance to assist with maneuvering on the hill and loading on the lift.
