Scholarship Application

We believe that everyone should be able to participate in our programs no matter their financial abilities. Participants who demonstrate financial need may be eligible for a scholarship to cover a portion of the cost of the program. Applying for a scholarship or receiving a scholarship in the past does not guarantee that additional scholarships will be awarded. We strongly encourage participants to pay as much as they are able so that scholarships will be available to others throughout the year. If the participant does not call or arrive to the scheduled lesson for two (2) lessons, the remainder of the session lessons will be cancelled and future scholarship eligibility may be re-evaluated. Note that all of the information provided in this Scholarship Application will remain confidential. It is the policy of the National Ability Center to maintain a non-discriminatory scholarship application process. The National Ability Center does not make scholarship decisions based upon age, sex, race, color, religion, national origin, disability, sexual orientation, marital status or veteran status.

Volunteer Engagement
The National Ability Center is a nonprofit organization that relies heavily on volunteer work and donations. We encourage all participants to promote our programs in every way they can. Volunteering at the NAC contributes back to our mission by providing life-changing opportunities to people of all abilities. Many volunteer roles are available to suit your passion, abilities, availability, and recreational interests. The NAC is always seeking qualified volunteers to help with program and administrative needs. We hold volunteer orientation and program training on a regular basis. To protect the safety of our participants, we require background checks for all volunteers who will be in contact with our participants. NOTE: Existing participants or groups who have an active volunteer history with the NAC are given special consideration when reviewing scholarship requests.
