Put information learned in the classroom to work while you gain on-the-job experience. Interns may be currently enrolled, recent graduates or experienced professionals looking to gain exposure to a new career or field. Internships range from part-time (as little as ten hours/week) up to full time positions for three to four months. Therapeutic Recreation

Therapeutic Recreation Interns assist in all aspects of programs and administration. They are supervised by a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist while performing tasks as outlined by the National Council for Therapeutic Recreation Certification. Based on experience, the intern may also serve in a leadership role, as an instructor or facilitator. Interns also provide information on current trends in therapeutic recreation services, through projects, presentations, and staff in-services.

COACH (supported internship for Interns with disabilities)

COACH Internships provide a structured continuum of growth and learning for young adults (ages 16–22) with disabilities.
