This winter season, we would like to take the opportunity to recognize one of our favorite non-profit organizations here in Park City, The National Ability Center. They inspire athletes to do extraordinary things every day. Through more than a dozen adaptive recreational and educational programs offered year round, they foster self-esteem, confidence, and lifelong skills for every participant. From Paralympic gold medalists to those seeking to spend quality time with family and friends, The National Ability Center offers a safe place for everyone who is willing to challenge themselves in the great outdoors.
This season, The National Ability Center is offering events where family and friends of those with a “can do” attitude are encouraged to participate. Additionally, members of the Armed Forces and Veterans from every era are invited to participate in any program free of charge, and have special events for them and their families. A number of ongoing Nordic skiing, fat biking, and indoor climbing sessions are available throughout the season. Below are the upcoming friends and family events for the rest of the winter season.

In order to provide a low cost for participants in various activities throughout the year, The National Ability Center holds an annual fundraiser every winter: Red, White, & Snow. This year marks their 16th year of holding this fundraiser. The event is from March 4-7th with events scattered all around Park City. Join us on March 5th at our sister property, Stein Eriksen Lodge, for an intimate evening tasting of over 30 vintners’ favorite wines and hors d’oeuvres. For a full schedule of events, please visit Red, White, & Snow’s website here.
