The NAC is more than just a fundraising organization; it is a community of inclusivity and celebration. With two fun seasonal events, we invite our neurodiverse community and their families to come together and rejoice in each special moment. These events are not only about having a good time, but they also create a platform for promoting self-confidence, independence, and socialization skills.
With different activities that revolve around each seasonal theme – be it the Spring Formal Dance or the spooky, fun-filled Halloween Party – we aim to cultivate a sense of belonging and acceptance for everyone. Together, let’s celebrate our differences and revel in the joy of coming together as a community.
Spring Formal
We are so excited to invite our community to celebrate at our annual Spring Formal. The formal dance is available for all NAC participants 16 and older with disabilities and their date of all abilities. Options for salon services will be available to register at a later date.
The event will include light food, photo booth, and dancing. If the guest requires one on one support to be successful, we ask them to bring a guest to support them through the evening. We can’t wait to dance the night away with you!
Halloween Party
Get ready for the most exciting and inclusive Halloween event at the National Ability Center! Join us for a day of fun-filled festivities, trick-or-treating, creative activities, and memorable photos that will leave you with festive memories to cherish.
We invite you to bring your most colorful and creative costumes, but we kindly ask that you refrain from wearing scary masks or costumes so that everyone can participate. Let’s celebrate diversity and inclusivity together, make new friends and positively impact our community. See you there!

Scholarships
Scholarships may be available! We believe that finances should not get in the way of participating in our programs. It’s through the generosity of our donors that enable scholarship opportunities. Here’s how to apply for Scholarship through the program registration portal:
- Log in or create an account.
- Find a program and add it to your cart; check out of cart and select “Apply for Scholarship”.
- Complete the checkout process and you’ll receive a confirmation email.
How to Register
- Create a new account; log in and click Find Programs.
- Enter your preferred date range.
- Click Review on preferred Program; then click Add and Finish.
- Click on My Cart in primary Navigation and complete registration by clicking on Pay Now.
